– With Ferroamp Emergency Power 1P, the battery and solar cell system are kept running even without connection to the grid. By focusing on the most important power consumers, the battery can last a long time even during the winter months when solar energy production is low, says Ferroamp founder Björn Jernström.
The Ferroamp system optimizes and controls the use of solar cells, batteries and electric car charging. With functions such as phase balancing, spot price optimization, support services and the ability to cut power peaks and increase self-use of solar electricity, homeowners and property owners have the opportunity to reduce both electricity and grid costs.
By adding the single-phase inverter Ferroamp Emergency Power 1P to the system, selected electricity consumers are automatically switched over to backup power from battery and solar cells in the event of a power outage. With a so-called blackstart function, the system can also be started without being connected to the grid.
Emergency Power 1P has a unique solution that simplifies the installation of uninterruptible power. A compact earth electrode is used with continuous monitoring of both any arising earth potential and the installation’s PEN function. This achieves equivalent or better safety compared to traditional installations with local earthing.
