As light spreaders, we have a vision of a sustainable world where all roads, parks and squares are safe, secure and beautiful. In order for us to get there, to the bright future we hope everyone will have, action is required and not just fancy words.
As part of the Saferoad Group, we have committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and we jointly aim to reach net zero by 2050. Before 2030, we will also reduce our emissions by 50% compared to the base year of 2023.
However, our lighting poles are only one part of a lighting solution, and in addition we need to cooperate with like-minded “light heads” – luminaire companies, architects, consultants and clients. Together, we can create creative, aesthetic lighting solutions without environmental impact at a reasonable price.
That is our goal. Now the journey begins.
