Several years of work as an electrician and designer in various contexts have made Harald Stigefelt aware that there is great potential for improvement in most electrical designs. Harald founded Stitec in 2000 as a consulting company called H. Stigefelt AB. During 2002 and 2003, the business became increasingly manufacturing-oriented with many of its own products and the name change to Stitec AB in 2004 therefore felt completely logical.
Stitec currently has about 20 employees, but with targeted product development and active marketing, the goal is to increase sales and employees significantly in the coming years. The company has a number of different patents registered as a result of extensive product development. New products will be developed from function, ergonomics and safety to economy, design and environmental impact. In 2014, the company moved to larger premises of about 6000 m² in Anderstorp to enable continued expansion.
