About us
Since the company was founded in 1939 in Gnosjö, Småland, GARO has developed, manufactured and marketed products characterized by high quality, smart functions and sustainable design. Today, GARO is a leading supplier of EV charging and electric installation material in Europe and is continuing to develop the products and solutions of the future through smart technology focusing on electrical safety, user-friendliness and sustainability. The Group has sales companies in seven countries: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Ireland, the UK, Poland and Germany. Of our three production units, two are located in Sweden: one in Gnosjö and one in Hillerstorp. The third unit is located in Szczecin in Poland. GARO’s operations are divided into two business areas – GARO E-mobility and GARO Electrification.

Ground meter cabinets
GARO meter cabinets are designed for the Nordic climate and intended to be placed within the property's boundary. The cabinets are made of sheet metal, type magnelis covered with powder painting, which provides a very good corrosion protection. An optional bracket for wall or stand for temporary usage. All cabinets are approved according to Swedish Standard.
GARO LS4 - Public charging
The GARO LS4 is a safe bet for the future. Made primarily of aluminium, which is both weather-resistant and self-healing, it meets the strict requirements for public charging stations. Moreover, the light strip indicating the current charging status is high up to ensure good visibility even from a distance. The illuminated front and simple interface make car charging a breeze for users. The LS4 is available with full custom vinyl wrapping based on your own graphic design. The GARO LS4 is available with an output of 3.7–22 kW and has two Type 2 outlets in an illuminated recess, protected from weather and wind. Each outlet has its own separate energy meter, RFID reader, fuse and residual current device. The LS4 has DC current fault monitoring combined with a type A RCD.
Kabelskåp
Nu lanserar vi en helt ny serie kabelskåp under eget varumärke i det miljövänligare och exklusivare materialet Magnelis®. Detta är ett nytt revolutionerande hölje som både är starkt och korrosionsbeständigt. Med vårt nya kabelskåp lanserar vi ett miljöanpassat hölje, designat med flera unika fördelar som tål att jämföras. Skåpet klarar att stå utmed vägarna i alla klimatförhållande och kan innehålla exempelvis en servis-, gatubelysnings- eller reservkraftcentral. GARO Kabelskåp i Magnelis® finns i nio standardstorlekar, med eller utan mätarförlängning. Den smarta designen gör det möjligt att enkelt kunna bygga ut skåpet i framtiden. Skåpen är CE-märkta och typpro-vade enligt gällande standarder och ett ifyllt testprotokoll medföljer varje leverans. GARO Entity Pro
The GARO Entity Pro wallbox is the slightly larger member of the Entity family, making it ideal for housing cooperatives, companies and public places. With space for four wallboxes on a single stand, this is an efficient and flexible solution. Naturally, the wallbox has an integrated energy meter and is also available with a visible MID-approved meter. GARO Entity Pro has comprehensive integrated protection and has been third-party tested and certified as compliant with the international charging standard.

GARO Entity Compact suits all vehicles, regardless of make or model. The wallbox always comes with a fixed cable and is easily attached to a wall or a post. GARO Entity Flex
GARO Entity Flex is a temporary electric vehicle charger designed for temporary installations, such as those at construction sites and events for example. GARO Entity Flex combines two GARO Entity Pro wallboxes encapsulated in a robust protective frame for wall mounting. What’s more, an optional sturdy, heavy-gauge stand is also available for situations where this is a better solution. Unlike many other temporary electric vehicle chargers, GARO Entity Flex offers three-phase charging, making it both fast and effective. “When developing GARO Entity Flex, we had a strong focus on safety, user-friendliness and flexibility. Thanks to the integrated billing solution, the user simply scans the QR code on the side of the wallbox and pays for their charging by Swish, Apple Pay or payment card. This makes it ideal for temporary installations where there are often many people on the move with a great need for fast, easy and user-friendly charging,” says Daniel Englund, Commercial Product Manager, GARO Electrification.
Safety switches
GARO’s safety switches ensure that the power is controlled safely while making it easy to troubleshoot problems and perform maintenance or repair work without having to use the main breaker in the distribution cabinet. All switches are fitted with flanges and sealing nipples as standard, are tested for compliance with IEC 60947-3 and are approved for agricultural use. To meet the aesthetic preferences of households and others, GARO’s polycarbonate safety switches are available in four different colours: black, white, grey and Falun red.
Junction boxes LOCUS
Our moulded junction box is developed to cope with the toughest weather conditions and most demanding environments and is adapted to both Artic cold and tropical heat. With its high enclosure class and impact resistance, it is perfectly suited to challenging surroundings such as railway tunnels and mines, where it may be subject to heavy wear and tear and enormous stresses. This functional junction box can be easily adapted to your specific needs. With the aid of adjustable metal cable grand (8–16 mm), four or five cable outlets and space for terminal blocks, it will save you time, money and space.
LS4 Paystation
LS4 Paystation is a flexible and supplier-neutral payment station that makes it easy for property owners to receive payment for both electric vehicle charging and parking. Thanks to the payment station's technology-neutral design, the end customer can choose the payment solution and payment terminal that best suit. In connection with the launch of LS4 Paystation, the public charging stations LS4 and Twin+ will also be available offering the potential to have a payment terminal directly in the products.

To give guests the best overall experience of your campsite or camping facility, you need to offer a safe and easy-to-use power supply as well as well-lit surroundings for peace of mind. After spending more than 50 years developing and manufacturing power posts, we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience, which is reflected in our products. Today, GARO’s power and lighting posts are among the most modern and smartest on the market. The generous interior space means the installer can easily and quickly connect incoming cables and, if necessary, feed these to the next pedestal. It only takes a few minutes to fit the designed hose reel and the water tap. The electricity and water installations are separated by an efficient IP67 membrane and different sized lead-throughs facilitate the work and ensure a watertight finish. The lock function on the socket gives the user the possibility to lock the outlet socket with or without the plug inserted.
New cable cabinet for lighting and distribution.
We are now introducing a new cable cabinet for lighting and distribution. With a new, contemporary and functional design and made from the environmentally friendly and self-healing material Magnelis®, this cabinet simplifies matters for electricians and end users alike. The cable cabinets are intended for lighting control or distribution equipment, with a choice of 16 different pre-assembled standard models as well as four cabinets ready for you to customise yourself. The cabinets come with integrated bases and adjustable legs. The cabinets are also complemented with an extensive range of accessories, including a hatch for temporary power, a rock mount for locations where the cabinet needs to be anchored in rock and a snow marker. The design of our new cabinets is based on field studies conducted alongside electricians, meaning, for example, that they include a lockable hatch that doesn’t risk blowing open or otherwise interfering with the installation process. All with the aim of making your working days as an electrician easier and more straightforward.

Market-leading meter cabinets
GARO has long been a market leader when it comes to meter cabinets. We entered the market early and our dependable products, developed in Sweden and manufactured in our own factories, have earned us a strong position. All our meter cabinets are installation friendly and generously equipped as per the applicable standard using high-quality GARO components. You can choose to have your meter cabinet mounted in a recess in or directly on the facade, mounted on a post or installed in the ground.
G-box
We would dare to say that this is the strongest market offering for custom-made outlet boxes. Our G-box gives you endless possibilities and it can be custom-made and delivered to you quickly and easily. We will get back to you with a quuatation and layout and if you need extra fast delivery, we have no less than 10 different standard variants on the stock shelf with different configurations of sockets, so the one you want may already be on the shelf. The G-box can be stored in a cabinet with a lockable door, providing an outlet box that can be placed in public places and offer easy access to power. We also have a highly flexible protective stand to protect your G-box from being damaged by forklifts and the like in industrial environments. Moreover, we offer a wide range of accessories for different needs and environments. GARO’s outlet boxes are available in a variety of models and for applications from 16 A up to 63 A. We even have waterproof outlet boxes for up to 125 A.
PN100
The PN100 is GAROs classic post for power outlets and engine heaters and consists of an enclosure, a terminal block for power, the outlet insert kit of your choice and a tubular mounting post with a base. Every component is designed for outdoor car park use all year round in our changeable Nordic climate. Choose between two or three power outlets, or even a single outlet, all with a 24-hour connection to intelligent metering systems that help you to save energy. Naturally, the PN100 is also equipped with an RCBO (residual current breaker with overload protection), which automatically cuts the power if an electrical fault is detected.
IP65 Enclosure
Waterproof IP65 enclosure for harsh climates and environments. GARO’s IP65 enclosure is approved for up to 125 A and designed for both outdoor and indoor use. The IP65 rating offers strong and reliable protection, which makes the unit dust-tight and protects it from water (but not high-pressure jets). It is ideal for lighting and low-voltage distribution in industries, workshops and various types of outdoor environments such as parks, ponds, solar power installations, irrigation systems, pool areas and spa facilities. GARO’s IP65 enclosure is available in nine sizes, adapted to 4, 6, 8, 12, 18, 24, 36 or 54 modules. All come with screw terminals for earth and neutral connection, leaving plenty of space for cables. With the help of a double mounting nut, several units can be docked while retaining the density rating.
