About us
New technology has always been a driving force for us at Karl H Ström. When electricity began to make its way into Swedish homes, founder Karl Herrman Ström needed switches, to use with brass details he made in his foundry. The year was 1919 and he founded the company Karl H Ström, which began to buy innovative products in Germany. The circuit breaker was then followed by porcelain fuses, both products at the time were new technology that changed and improved everyday life for many people. Since the start in 1919, we have developed many times over and today offer products with new innovative technology - everything from luminaires with Bluetooth to lighting control for public environments. New technology, which improves, engages and gives us sustainable development.
We have most of the country's electrical wholesalers, electrical stores, building materials and hardware dealers as customers. With our large dealer network, fast and efficient customer service is required throughout the entire flow - from order to distribution. Today it takes place from our warehouse in Jönköping. Our customers can always count on maximum specialist competence in each product area. Just as we invest in high quality in our products, we make high demands on ourselves.

3000-serien, sensorer för alla behov
Steinel's popular motion detectors in the 3000 series have been further improved and expanded with several new variants and interfaces, e.g. KNX, DALI. The motion detectors in the new 3000 series are available in six different basic variants with specially developed lenses for different application areas. There is a lens or a sensor technology for every occasion where you want to detect movement, from the simplest basement storage to the high-altitude warehouse. The entire family currently consists of more than 70 different articles.
Närvarovakt DALI Plus
DALI Plus sensorn behöver bara en DALI-slinga ut till samtliga armaturer, det ger en enkel och kostnadseffekiv installation. Du kan sedan ansluta upp till 64 armaturer som tack vara Steinels DALI Plus sensor automatiskt tilldelas en adress. Det är möjlighet att dela in armaturerna i tre olika belysningsgrupper med individuell styrning av varje grupp. Dessutom finns det ytterligare en potentialfri reläutgång som kan anslutas till HVAC eller en armaturgrupp för av-på. På sensorn finns det fyra ingångar för tryckknappar. Behöver man utöka sensorns bevakningsområde ansluter man slav-sensorer direkt på DALI-slingan. För interaktion med närliggande områden s.k. grannzonsstyrning ansluter man två eller fler DALI Plus sensorer via en styrledning till plinten P. Vi kan erbjuda DALI Plus i projektanpassade versioner med förmonterad WAGO WINSTA® snabbkopplingskontakt. RS PRO LED Connect 5100
RS PRO Connect 5100 is a luminaire with many technical innovations and innovative solutions. Perfect for garages, parking garages, industry, basements, workshops, etc. The communication between the luminaires in the Connect 5100 series takes place with Bluetooth and thanks to mesh technology there are no restrictions on the distance between the first and last luminaire. All settings of the Connect 5100 luminaire are app-based via Steinel's free app. Therefore, it is very easy to create both large and small lighting groups without special wiring. In addition, it is quick and easy to change the lighting system when the function of the room needs to be changed or expanded. The RS PRO Connect 5100 is equipped with the very latest LED technology and Steinel's new adaptive sensor. All this together provides an energy-efficient and flexible lighting system with very low operating costs and minimal maintenance
Connect serie R med Bluetooth
Connect series R is a family of ceiling-wall ceilings from Steinel. A unique feature is that the luminaires have both direct and indirect light, which provides an even and pleasant light picture. Thanks to integrated Bluetooth with mesh technology, it is easy to wirelessly create both small and large lighting groups.
True Presence - äkta närvaro
True Presence® is the world's first true presence sensor, i.e. a sensor that can 100% detect presence in a room, regardless of whether the person is walking, sitting or sleeping. By detecting micro-movements that occur during breathing, it is actually possible to detect even a sleeping or a completely stationary person.
Cubo med Bluetooth
Cubo är en familj av armaturer för utomhusbruk med integrerade Bluetooth-kommunikation. Flera armaturer kan enkelt sammankopplas och skapa en eller flera belysningsgrupper. Alla funktioner ställs in direkt i mobil med Steinels gratisapp. Cubo finns i tre olika design-utföranden för vägg samt som pollare.
Närvarovakt Control Pro IR Micro
Control Pro IR Micro är en mycket liten och diskret närvarovakt för mindre utrymmen, perfekt för kontor, mindre mötesrum men även toalett och väntrum. Sensorn detekterar närvaro (minsta rörelse 15 cm) på en yta av 4×4 meter vid en montagehöjd på 2,8 meter. För gående personer är detekteringsområdet 6×6 meter. IR Micro består av två delar, en sensorenhet och en kopplingsbox. Kapslingsklassen är hela IP65 underifrån. Finns både i 1-kanal, DALI-2 och KNX.
Strålkastare XLED CAM 1
XLED CAM 1 är en strålkastare med rörelsedetektor och övervakningskamera. Den integrerade kameran skickar knivskarpa bilder till din smartphone eller surfplatta. Dessutom kan du via din app kommunicera med besökaren i realtid via porttelefonen som också finns integrerad i strålkastaren. När sensorn detekterar rörelse skickas ett meddelande till din mobil eller surfplatta och du ser i realtid vad som händer framför din entré. I appen är det även möjligt att ställa in funktioner som grundljus 0-40%, efterlystid, skymningsnivå, pushnotiser och lagring av händelser. Du kan alltid veta vem som är utanför din dörr – oavsett om du är i köket eller i mataffären.
Strålkastare XLED ONE
XLED ONE is a spotlight from STEINEL that combines sensor technology and LED light. The floodlight lights up and gives a strong light when the sensor detects movement. Perfect for use in driveways, courtyards, parking lots, around properties, etc. To ensure a long life for the LED lights, the back of the floodlight head is equipped with efficient cooling fins. XLED ONE is also available in a variant with higher power and stronger light flow, XLED ONE XL.

Spot is a family of modern and designed spotlights/spotlights in various designs. XLED PRO ONE is a family of durable and reliable headlights from STEINEL. The family consists of 3 models and is available with or without a motion sensor. Model with motion sensor lights up with full light when the sensor detects motion. It can also shine with safety-creating background light when no movement is detected by the sensor. The XLED PRO ONE, like other floodlights in the XLED family, is optimized for LED light sources, which provides a long life and high energy efficiency. For example, the rear of the headlight head has been fitted with powerful cooling fins that efficiently dissipate excess heat.
XLED Home tar steget in i Bluetooth-familjen
För 10 år sedan lanserades den ursprungliga modellen av LED-strålkastaren XLED Home, då var den en av de första strålkastare med LED-ljuskälla på marknaden. Det blev en formidabel succé, med 100 000-tals sålda strålkastare bara under det första året. Sedan dess har XLED Home utökats flera nya varianter och uppdaterats flera gånger om. Nu kommer XLED Home 2 i en ny smart version med integrerad Bluetooth mesh, vilket innebär att flera strålkastare och andra Steinel Connect produkter enkelt kan kommunicera med varandra för interaktion. Det är dessutom möjligt att styra strålkastaren både via tid och skymningsnivå. XLED Home 2 Connect kombinerar senaste sensortekniken med LED-ljus och Bluetooth-mesh. Vid rörelse i sensorns bevakningsområde tänds strålkastaren upp och ger ett kraftigt ljus. Det är enkelt att ställa in vilket område som ska belysas tack vare att LED-panelen kan vinklas åt alla håll. Ljusbilden är jämn och bredstrålande i och med att LED-dioderna är övertäckta med en diffusor-skiva. För att kunna garantera en lång livslängd är XLED Home är designad så att överskottsvärmen effektivt leds bort via kylflänsar på baksidan av LED-panelen. XLED Home har även en integrerad temperaturövervakning, ATC, som ständigt övervakar drifttemperaturen. Med Steinels gratis-app kan alla funktioner ställas in enkelt och exakt. Strålkastaren kan sammankopplas och kommunicera med alla Steinels sensorer och belysningsarmaturer som är försedda med Bluetooth mesh.
Hallway, DALI-sensor med Bluetooth kommunikation
Motion detector Hallway is equipped with two directional HF sensors that quickly and accurately detect walking people in corridors, culverts and passages. The sensor monitors an area of 12.5 x 3 meters in both directions, i.e. a total area of 25 x 3 meters. The length of the detection area can be individually set in both directions. The Hallway sensor reacts to movement from a walking person, car, truck, door, garage door, etc. Hallway is equipped with integrated Bluetooth for wireless connection of several sensors for expanding the detection area and the possibility of neighboring zone control.
HF 360-2, DALI-sensor med Bluetooth-kommunikation
Control Pro HF 360-2 in DALI APC version is a sensor with integrated Bluetooth for communication between the sensors. This means, among other things, that the detection area can be easily expanded. It is also possible with wireless control of adjacent areas, so-called neighboring zone control. Together with the accessory Push-button unit, the number of push-button-controlled lighting groups can be easily increased. It is also possible to create lighting scenarios via the Push Button unit. BT IPD slave sensors are used as slave sensors for wireless communication or sensors model DALI-2 IPD (connected to the DALI loop) for wired connection. Setting the sensor's functions is carried out with Steinel's free app Smart Remote.
Serie S med Bluetooth mesh för smarta trapphus!
The classics RS PRO LED S1 and S2 from Steinel have been updated. Nowadays, the luminaires in the new S series can communicate with each other via Bluetooth Mesh. Via the mobile app, it is possible to create neighboring zones and lighting groups as well as set the level for maximum and basic light. In combination with Steinel's latest reliable sensor, it is possible to achieve a very energy-efficient lighting system that can be easily adapted according to the property's requirements and conditions.

Downligth DL 200 Sensor Connect
DL 150 and 200 are downlights with an integrated motion and light sensor. Thanks to Bluetooth mesh communication, these downlights offer easy connection of several devices, without complicated wiring. The connection is tool-less, which means quick and easy assembly. The luminaires provide a flicker-free light and it is easy to change the color temperature to 3000K, 4000K or 5700K via dip switch. DL 150/200 is designed in enclosure class IP54 and is primarily intended for indoor use. The downlight offers the option of setting a security-creating basic light that is adjustable 15-100% of full light flux. Setting the downlight's functions via password-protected Bluetooth connection with mobile and Steinel's free app. In the app, you can create lighting groups, neighboring zones, basic light scenarios and set the sensor's range, twilight value, time functions and more.
