Emergency power switch according to IEC 60947-6-1
How the emergency power supply is designed by standards The IEC 60947-6-1 standard regulates the execution and tests that switchgear of this category must meet so that a consumer source can be switched safely and reliably to power from the unit. Some technical parameters must be adhered to here, which are mainly covered by the IEC 60947-3 standard and identify it as MTSE (Manual Transfer Switch Equipment). As part of a standard-compliant emergency power supply, you can rely on the emergency power switch from Kraus & Naimer. These tasks comply with the international monitoring standards IEC 60947-6-1 and IEC 60947-3 in the field of low-voltage switchgear. Emergency power supply To integrate an emergency power supply, an aggregate that is switched with an emergency power switch or MTSE is always required.

Switch disconnectors for DC applications in solar energy A growing demand for switch disconnectors for DC in solar energy has led us to launch a completely new series of switch disconnectors developed for this DC application. Kraus & Naimer's reliable main switch guarantees safe operation. With rated currents from 12 A to 50 A and voltages from 450 V to 1000 V and with the DC-PV0, DC-PV2 or DC-21B application categories, solutions can be found for most isolator applications in the solar energy market. The switch disconnectors are available with a fully insulated enclosure and a red/yellow or gray/black handle with padlock attachment. With the IP66/67 protection class, they can be used in very demanding environments. To complement this series, there is also a complete series of switch disconnectors for AC in fully insulated enclosures. This allows a contractor to equip the entire installation with switch disconnectors from a single manufacturer.
