About us
We develop crash safe lighting poles with the goal to improve traffic safety and to reduce the enironmental impact. Thanks to our unique 3D-roll forming and innovative product design, we can produce lighting poles made by 2 mm high-strength steel with Magnelis® alloy. This results in light, and very strong poles with signicifantly better corrosion and blasting protection. As we use 30% steel in our poles, we are a much more environmental friendly choice compared to our competitors.

Lighting pole
Our 12-sided lighting posts are manufactured in high-strength steel with 3D roll forming in Borlänge. The combination of strong construction, Magnelis coating and 2mm thin steel results in durable posts that are also crash-proof.
Black painted pole
Tailor-made solutions - we have the ability to tailor solutions to our customers' needs. Our range includes several different types of arms, crowns and both curved and straight shapes - with or without struts. In addition, we can paint the posts in any RAL color to blend in or stand out in the environment.
Fossil-reduced steel
We can now offer all our poles in fossil-reduced steel for a lower impact on the environment. The steel is made from recycled material and with renewable energy, which means that the total climate impact is significantly reduced. A pole with fossil-reduced steel has a climate impact equivalent to only 1.74 CO2e/kg, which is significantly lower than other poles on the market today. We call the variants with fossil-reduced steel NC GREEN.
Wide range – from unclassified to certified HE poles
Our HE-certified poles meet Europe's highest requirements for traffic safety. Perfect for motorways and thoroughfares, where safety and quality make a difference. These are available in our S-series. Our NE-certified poles reduce the risk of personal injury in the event of a collision. Perfect for streets, residential areas and parks. These are available in our E-series. Our unclassified poles are perfect for local streets and parks where function and durability are required. Choose up to 2.5 m arm, double arm, crown or GC arms - we tailor-make to your project. These are available in our EX-series.
Playful enviroments
In Mjölby, they are focusing on playful and inspiring environments in their playgrounds. There, both the play equipment and Northcone lighting posts will have a uniform color scheme.
