Pipe systems
Protection against mechanical stress: OBO's metal pipes are particularly suitable for tough industrial environments and agriculture. They protect the wires against mechanical stress. The different material and surface qualities mean that the system can be perfectly adapted to what is required in each environment. Easy installation: Pipes and accessories such as 90° bends, joints and spacers, provide a quick and easy installation. With the help of a roof line holder and adapter, you can easily build up a system for laying cables in pipes on the roof. Perfect for installations of anti-aircraft lights, roof heating, or solar cell systems. Fire-proof electrical installations: Our steel pipes offer a performance guarantee of up to 90 minutes and are therefore ideal for laying fire-proof cable when it comes to installations of safety systems such as reference, emergency lighting fixtures and sprinkler systems. The products that are tested to last 90 minutes are marked with the symbol "E90".

Rail system for professional assembly: Very powerful and flexible system with a complete range of angles, joints, floor/ceiling brackets, etc. Rail systems with cable holders are a perfect solution for cable laying both vertically and horizontally, and OBO has solutions for equipotential bonding of cable screens. Mounting accessories: Profile rails with a slot width of 22 mm are used for the construction of small and large mounting locations such as switchboards, appliance cabinets and the like. Profile rails are used for attaching cables and wires using cable holders. With accessories such as T-screw, slide nut and cable holder, you will find the right solution. With the help of products from our other product categories, you can easily build up a free standing framework for mounting appliance cabinets and other technical equipment in connection with installations on, for example, a roof. Concrete blocks and curb protection are in our lightning protection program and wire ladders and metal pipes are in our industrial category. The system can be advantageously used for solutions within solar cell installations and roof heating systems, etc. Cable holders: The spacers are used for stability and support of cables against the rails, and are adapted and optimized according to the different installation requirements. They are easily installed afterwards, which is a clear installation advantage. The plastic spacers can be used both as single and double spacers. Shield connection (EMI): OBO has solutions for optimal equipotential bonding of wire shields, such as protection against electromagnetic interference together with cable holders. Simple installation and flexible retrofitting. A wire shield as protection against electromagnetic influence contributes to the potential equalization because both ends are connected to the reference potential. Cable holder is delivered complete with pressure plate and spacers in V2A stainless steel.

These overvoltages occur in both the AC and DC lines and are a very big threat to the PV system's inverter, as the overvoltages are quite sufficient to knock out the entire unit. To protect the inverter, it is important that all lines, both AC, DC and any data lines, which are connected to the inverter are equipped with surge protection. All surge protectors must be installed as close to the inverter as possible. For the AC side, V20, E 52 737 10, or E 52 737 12 is used, which is equipped with a potential-free changing remote signal for monitoring. For the DC side, V20 is selected based on the maximum operating voltage of the inverter, 600V, 1000V or 1500V. All models are available both with and without remote signal.
